  4. നിയമനത്തിന് സർക്കാർ സ്കൂളിലെ അധ്യാപക-അനധ്യാപകരുടെ പ്രായപരിധിയും ഇളവുകളും തന്നെയാണ് എയ്ഡഡ് സ്കൂളിനും ബാധകം (ചട്ടം 1 (2), Ch. XIV A)
    സർക്കാർ സ്കൂളിൽ (PSC) വിജ്ഞാപനം പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച വർഷം ജനുവരി 1 ന് പൂർത്തിയായ വയസ്സാണ് പരിഗണിക്കുന്നത്. ഡിസംബർ 31 നുണ്ടായ വിജ്ഞാപനമായാലും ആ വർഷം ജനുവരി 1 ന് 18 തികയണം. (ഉയന്ന പരിധിക്കും അതു തന്നെ മാനദണ്ഡം. ജനുവരി 1 ന് അത് കടന്നിരിക്കരുത്)

    G.O(MS) 137/82/Gen.Edn Dated 25-9 -1983 എയ്ഡഡ് സ്കൂൾ അധ്യാപക നിയമനങ്ങൾക്കു മാത്രം ബാധകമായ ഒന്നാണ്. ഇതു പ്രകാരം LPST /UPSTമാരുടെ നിയമനത്തിനു നൽകിയ ആനുകൂല്യത്തിന് ( നിയമനത്തീയതിയിൽ 18 തികഞ്ഞാൽ മതി ) G.O (Rt) No.905/84/Gen.Edn Dated 10-9 - 1984. പ്രകാരം 1-6-1982 മുതൽ മുൻകാല പ്രാബല്യം നൽകി.
    LPST /UPSTമാരുടെ നിയമനത്തിനു മാത്രം നൽകിയ ഈ ആനുകൂല്യം G.O(MS) 193/84/Gen.Edn Dated 10-9-1984 വഴി എല്ലാ അധ്യാപക നിയമനങ്ങൾക്കും ബാധകമാക്കി.
    ഈ ഉത്തരവുകൾ ഇപ്പോഴും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും LPST/UPST മാരുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ അത് അപ്രസക്തമായി. പക്ഷേ ചില ഭാഷാധ്യാപകർക്ക് ഇത് ഗുണം ചെയ്യും. (ഉദാ. ഹിന്ദി ഭൂഷൺ കഴിഞ്ഞ് LG Hindi Tr ആകുന്നവർ etc)

    ഈ ഉത്തരവുകൾ NTS ന് ബാധകമല്ല
